THE NEWEST ADDITION TO THE PODCAST, Peralta is an educator and a fan of anime in her own right. With a tendency to lean more towards “wholesome” anime, Peralta is often exposed to wider genres by her sister, and previous guest, Lyn. Always looking at ways to introduce anime into the learning space, Peralta has a love/hate relationship with the “school setting” trope in anime. When it’s done well and focuses on the personality and struggles of its protagonists and antagonists, she’s first in line to watch, but when the show leans towards an ecchi vibe, she recoils away quickly.

She often brings a level-headed and outside opinion, being of the three hosts, the least extreme in her analysis, and helps keep the conversation on track.
