Crunchyroll Expo Day Two!

A crowd gathered around Hime, Crunchyroll’s own mascot and VTuber.

Day tow of Crunchyroll kicked off with a quick stroll around the entire convention center as I showed the podcast’s photographer around. The crowd surrounding the holoMeet Experience Zone was even larger than Friday’s, and the excitement in the crowd was incredible. We eventually made our way into the Central Shopping District and happened upon a live chalk drawing promoting miHoYo’s open-world action-adventure gotcha game Genshin Impact.

Inside the convention, the rest of the day was spent photographing cosplayers, taking b-roll footage, and shopping through the artist district, before we broke off to watch the early premiere of Tonikawa: Over the Moon for You ~Uniform~ screening – something I wrote about previously here.

Following that, we wandered around snapping some more photographs and then met up with some friends to play a few games. Overall, Day Two was a successful day with a difficult balance of work and fun.
